Lake County Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan

The Board of Commissioners voted to adopt Resolution No. 2018-26 - Adopt the Lake County Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan 2018-2023 during the Monday, October 15, 2018 meeting.

The plan, prepared by First District Association of Local Governments, has been finalized for Lake County for submission to FEMA. This plan is an update of the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan (PDM) that was developed by the County in 2013. The document serves as a strategic planning tool for use by the county and its communities in its efforts to mitigate against future disaster events.
