Lake County and the City of Madison will host a meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the City Commission Room.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information regarding the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) related to the acquisition or relocation of structures damaged by flooding events in 2019 or had been flooded repeatedly in the past. Representatives from the First District Association of Local Governments and the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management will provide information regarding the grant program.
