ROAD CLOSURE: Section of S. Egan

Beginning on July 16, 2018, S. Egan Avenue will be closed between 2nd and 3rd Street (the railroad crossing). This closing will be in affect for approximately two weeks. Please use alternative routes.

DENR Recognizes City of Madison

The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) announced that the City of Madison public water system and the system’s operation specialists have been awarded a Drinking Water Certificate of Achievement Award. Click for more.

West Center Street Project

The construction of Center Street between Blanche Ave & Highland Ave is scheduled to commence April 30. Starting May 9, a weekly meeting every Wednesday will be held at 10am at the City Commission room during construction. Click for more details on the project.
