City of Madison residents have a few options to help them stay informed of happenings in Madison. This website, social media, departmental email newsletters & alerts, and even a texting service are used by the City.

Social Media
Many City departments have their own social media accounts. Links to these can be found on department pages.

Text Message Notification Service
The sole purpose of this service is to better serve and keep the citizens informed of situations within the city. Text the word ‘MADISON’ to (605) 593-8008 to sign up to receive text messages.
